On Friday afternoon, Dylan moved to his new foster home. Everything seemed to go smoothly on our end, but we have not heard how it went once he got there. He really has no concept of what is happening or that he is not coming back to our home to live. We miss him already and look forward to his phone calls and visits. Taneesha expressed that she is sad he had to leave. And Lena just keeps asking when Dyl-Pickle is coming back from his moms. To her this seems like he is gone on his regular visit with his mom and she is anxiously awaiting his return.
Please continue to pray for Dylan as he makes this transition into this new family. And for his mom as she is not happy about this move and wishes that he would have remained with us. We will remain in close contact with her as she works hard and is anxious to have Dylan back in her care full-time.
We were truly blessed to have Dylan in our home and even though he is not physically with us, he will always be part of our family. We also know that Dylan has been blessed by many of you. Thank you for loving him.
