July - Part 2

We were able to spend lots of time outside taking walks, and bike and scooter rides around the neighborhood.  The kids love to stop to pick up sticks, rocks, pine cones and play in the puddles.

And we enjoyed the warm rainy summer days: me with my camera and the kids in the water.

Catching Up - July

In July, we did lots of fun things and I took so many pictures.  To celebrate 4th of July, we went to Kollen Park with Katie, Rob and twins to watch the fireworks.

We also had a bonfire and enjoyed yummy s'mores. 

We took the kids to John Ball Zoo.  Lena kept asking about seeing the elephants.

Catching up!

I can hardly believe that my last post was back in May after we took the kids to Holland for Tulip Time.  We have had a very busy summer filled with lots of fun and many different activities.  In June,  the weather got warm enough for the kids to play in the pool. 

And we took walks to Captain Sundae, a local ice cream shop where the kid love to sit in the wooden ship while we eat ice cream.

Lena will be baptized in church on May 31, 2009. This is the video that will be played to celebrate her life with us.
